Valencia, 16th October 2025 – Under the Electric Trucking-as-a-Service Master Agreement with Transnugon, PragmaCharge has begun the delivery of the first heavy-duty electric trucks. A handover ceremony in partnership Mercedes-Benz Trucks (via Valdisa) was held today in Valencia to mark the occasion. This milestone represents a key step in scaling the electrification of freight transport along Spain’s major corridors.

Key Highlights
Heavy-Duty Fleet Electrification
PragmaCharge is developing a network of high-power charging-hubs across Spain—starting with the flagship facility at MercaValencia and with further sites planned in Madrid. These hubs are intended to support freight operators on Spain’s busiest routes, enabling seamless long-haul electric operations. The company is planning more charging hubs to connect major freight corridors across the Iberian Peninsula including Barcelona and Lisbon.
Next-Generation eTrucks for Logística Carosan-Transnugon
Transnugon is introducing the Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 into its fleet. These trucks come with greater range and capacity compared to previous models, enabling Transnugon SL, a key anchor customer in PragmaCharge’s MercaValencia Hub, to operate competitively with diesel and advance their decarbonisation goals whilst maintaining their high commitment to customer service.
Driver Experience & Transition
Drivers who have operated the eActros 300 over the past two years report significantly improved comfort, smoothness of ride, and modern cabin experience relative to diesel trucks. This handover underscores the Transnugon’ confidence in scaling electric truck operations with driver satisfaction and comfort in mind.
OEM Commitment from Mercedes-Benz Trucks/ Valdisa
Valdisa is proud to deliver the first two eActros 600s to PragmaCharge and its customer Transnugon. This marks an early step in Mercedes-Benz Trucks’ broader ambition to have approximately 50 % of its sales be electric or decarbonised by 2030.
Pablo Bordils, Director, Logística Carosan-Transugon
“Today signals a major step in Transnugon’s electrification journey. Thanks to increased range and efficiency of the eActros 600 and PragmaCharge’s Electric Trucking-as-a-Service solution, we are able to present a competitive proposition to our customers while meeting our sustainability targets. We look forward to continuing to offer our customers decarbonised solutions and pushing the future of decarbonised freight.”
Alejo Gutierrez, Transnugon Truck Driver, Logística Carosan-Transugon
“Having driven the eActros 300 for the last two years, I can say the electric trucks feel cleaner, smoother, and far more comfortable than diesel. I look forward to driving the next generation models, knowing they will retain those comforts while boosting our confidence with increased range and capability.”
Javier Serratosa, Managing Director, PragmaCharge España
“We are delighted to witness the first eActros 600 entering into service with Transnugon. Delivery of the trucks is in sync with the ongoing construction of MercaValencia Charging Hub and our expansion plans to build a robust charging network connecting Valencia-Madrid and other major freight corridors across Iberia in the coming years. We are committed to help freight operators to transition to electric fleets without operational compromise.”
Pedro Santiago, Fleet Manager at Daimler Truck Spain
“We are excited to support PragmaCharge and Transnugon in this milestone. The eActros 600 sets the standard for heavy-duty electric trucking, and today is the beginning of a longer road ahead—toward our goal of 50 % electric or decarbonised truck sales by 2030.”
Anil Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer and Cofounder, PragmaCharge Limited
“With 272 billion tonne-kilometres of road freight in 2024, Spain is among the top three* largest road freight countries in Europe along with Poland and Germany. The start of operations here in Valencia, Spain today helps accelerate the scaling and real-world deployment of our Electric Trucking-as-Service solution across Europe.
